What is Washi Tape and Why Should I Use It?

You might be reading this because you have no idea what Washi tape is. Or maybe because you’ve been hearing  all about it but you’re unsure whether or not it’s something you’d  actually use. Well…here are all the answers you may be looking for. Washi tape is essentially a multi- purpose, multi- use masking tape. But not the boring old tan masking  tape you use around the house. Washi tape comes in a variety of colors and designs, and even a variety of sizes! You can use washi tape wherever you would like, but it has taken the planner world by storm and we’re here to tell you why!

You  can easily add printables to your planner

Is there something your planner doesn’t have but you wish it did? Problem solved! You can use printables to satisfy those needs. Once you have printed what you  want to  add, you can tape it right into your planner.

It can spice up your planner

There are so many ways you can use Washi tape such as creating  sections  in your planner, marking events that span multiple days in your monthly spread, and since you  can  write on most Washi tape rolls, you can even use them to create headings, “highlight” important tasks, etc. Yes, Washi tape is very practical but it is also super cute & a fun way to decorate your planner! There are so many designs and colors that will allow you to do just about anything you’d like. You can get holiday themed rolls, rolls to go with each season,  etc. It’s a fun and simple way to dress up your planner!

Now that we’ve walked you through what Washi tape is and some ways you can use it, we’ll leave  you with a few visual examples; and even some links so you can get your own!
